Hello

I have another customer to do on sunday, it is the same customer who i posted the jaguar on. This time were doing his black dodge dakota late 90's black. I was wondering how tought the dodge clear coats are? I plan on using:

wash
Clay
wash
Med Cut via LC orange cutting pad (PC)
Aio via LC white polishing pad (PC)
#26 via hand

I used this on the customers jag and it did a magnificent job. I am just wondering if the dodge would have a harder clearcoat?

thanks

Greg

yup they are a pain in the ass. I doubt the med cut will doanything but let us know if it works for you.

Wow finally a reply! Thanks for answering.. I really had good luck with the med cut. It didnt take out everything but really did a good job with the cutting orange pad. They say the med cut is a heavy abrasive that seems weird, you would think it woudl be a med abrasive.

i didnt like it much, even using it w/ a rotory. Maybe i should give it another shot. But i really like the Light Cut, the Heavy Cut is aweseome and i just ordered some of the Extreme Cut and im anxious to try it out. Glad it worked.

What would you say the Heavy and Extreme cut are similiar to?

I havent tried the extreme yet. I really wouldnt compare them since they are chemical cleaners and dont have grits or strong abrasive like IP for example. But ive never had any problems w/any of the paint levelers from TOL.

I am planning on buying some of the SSR line now instead of TOL. I really like the Tol though. I just want to shop around a bit.

Thanks Everyone

Yeah, I like their stuff too. Awesome, simply awesome results, and very easy to use. I am just curious as to what kind of situation would you personally use the Extreme Cut for? I really like their heavy cut and I was wondering if buying the Extreme would be a little redundant. Will probably get it just to have in my arsenal, but not sure if it will really do much more than the heavy.

well the heavy or 357 is pretty good, i just thought the extreme would help idont know i just bought it ok :). Anyhow im sure it has its place somewhere. The onlything ididnt like about the Heavy Cut is that is smells like those generic bigass eggs you get on easter. You know the ones that are colored w/ white filling :lol .
