Dodge Avenger- Worst Interior to Date

Every once and a while you get a job that just shocks you... and not the way you want to be shocked when you're approached for a "it's not too bad" interior detail.



The photos show pretty well what we were up again. In this case, the scrubber attachment on the PC was my saving grace to break down the grit and grim in the carpet. The car was littered with soda, juice, cooking grease and other undetermined stains- not to mention the layers or dust, dirt, and rocks all over the place. So here's what we're looking at...

Ok, so now let's start turning this thing around- Carpet shampoo, citrus degreaser, APC+, and a few other cleaning chemicals.

50/50 anyone?

I hadn't done the seat belts yet due to time constraints on the rest of the interior.

I'm one of the few exceptions to that, I think. If I even thought of letting the wife's Avenger get half that dirty, she'd shoot me.

Holy barf. Some people are just disgusting. I totally get that some people view cars as an appliance, but you still spend several hours/week in that appliance. Nice job!

Please tell me that came from a used car dealer straight from an auction. No one who would treat a car like that would pay to have it cleaned would they? I can't imagine walking in and admitting you are that big of a slob.

Great work, did you wear a BIO suit? Get a tetanus shot? Should have called the CDC that may be the source of the Ebola out break.

I bet that was fun. I love cleaning dirty interiors like this because the results are so stark than compared to cleaning an already clean interior.
I'm curious, what equipment did you use for cleaning?
