Do you use a Glaze?

You are an Auotpian!!! What do you care if your LSP lasts for 6 months. You probably change it every 1-2 months anyhow? :)

Not in my case. 12 months and then refill the marks in and lock in the fillers

The glazes I use on my customers cars and race cars in the shop are Prima Amigo, Ultra gloss superpolish and Glare Professional Polish

Amigo allows any sealant or wax to be applied over the top and the shine doesn't go away

Ultra gloss is also a sealant and is best left on to dry for 20 mins after polishing it on

The Glare pro polish is a permanent glaze as you apply twice. first as a polish and then as a sealant. This process locks in the fillers and makes the paint more resistant to abrasion

It is great to do all your polishing and sealing, then apply by orbital your favourite QD or spray sealant after every wash for three to six months to boost the coatings durability and make the lustre higher and higher the more you use it

Whenever you find any new swirls etc, fill them in, reseal to lock in the fillers and then get back to orbital quick detailing.

The paint will be slick all year long and then after twelve months, abrasively polish or fill in the marks

Is the Danase Wet Glaze different from the older Danase Speed Glaze?

Heh heh, the LSP on my dog-haulers better last a lot longer than that! (More of my Autopian Heresy :D )

I'm still waiting for spring to arrive so that I can do another detail on my 350z with RMG and Natty's Blue. I'm thinking it will look stunning!

IMHO i leave the glazes for show cars only, i feel using them cuts down on durabilty and causes bonding issues in some cases.

I have never noticed a problem when using Danase Wet Glaze, its acrylic polymers are wonderful at bonding with the sealant you put over it. Other glazes do not do as well from what I am told.
