Do you still do the "Look-Back"?

I've got my 1 AIO and 2 SG (to go to 3-4) Klasse applications on my 02 Maxima Dark Blue). When its time to re-apply everything I'm curious how I should go about it. The PPCL and Souveran Wax seem to be well thought of here so I thought I might give them a shot in the future(plus Tacs has a great price right now). Here's what I'm thinking for next time:

1) 1 PPCL

2) 1 some type of polish (Meg #3 Machine Glaze ?)

3) 1 or 2 AIO

4) 3-4 SG

5) 1 Souveran Wax

Any comments welcome and appreciated.

In part 2 you can do some swirl remover stuff if you need it (or clay if you need it). Something like Meguiars Glaze will add stuff to get in the way with Klasse (or AIO will take it off).

The best tips in your second time is to refine your methods. Using SG on different days, helps you get more out of each coat. Working the PPCL and the AIO. Possibly washing your car before the AIO. Maybe even considering using ABC.

HTH-Steve :)

I find it that the second coat of All-In-One really makes a big difference from only one coat. I like to use three.

Oh yea, one more thing, when I apply Klasse All In One I VERY lightly spray the pad I am using to apply the All In One, it spreads better. Apply it thin and it'll be a dream to take off, if Klasse Glaze was as easy to remove as the All In One I would of had at least 15-20 coats on my car by now. Darn the "wait" time, I wish I had a lighted garage, my car would have a half inch thick layer of Glaze on it.

:p :bounce

AIO should remove the machine glaze. So the machine glaze step may be wasted. You will get the results you want on your pride and joy next year with:

1. clay (nothing wrong with claying your car after a year)

2. Pinnacle PCL

3. AIO

4. several coats of Klasse SG

5. Souveran topper.

You are going to love the Souveran. Laters

We all love our cars. Obviously. We're detailers! We love the way they look after a fresh detail....

OK.........

You've arrived at your destination. You get out and start to walk towards the... (restaurant, store, office, any-place!)...

Do you do the "Look-Back"?

I don't know about you, but I still do! (Been doing it since I was 16!)

I keep opening my front door just to look at my car. My wife keeps asking me what I am looking at, and I have to say I'm just seeing what's going on in the neighborhood.

Yup, almost every time I pass by the door to the garage, I like to peak out and make sure they are both tucked in safe and sound.

And I ALWAYS look back after parking, I feel like my car(s) would really have hurt feelings if I didn't (like that commercial with that old Saab that's talking and wonders if his owner just did the "look back").

95% of the time I will (even if the car isn't clean), the only times I don't is when it's raining and I don't feel like getting wet.

I just can't help it, and since I (as well as most people on this forum, I'm sure) park in the back of most parking lots, the long walk into the store/wherever gives me plenty of time to do multiple look-backs. :D

Absolutely..... I go as far as checking my baby every night when I do my lockdown lap. I peek into the garage, flip on the lights, and say goodnight :D

As far as when I detail someone elses ride, I watch as they drive off, almost like it's one of my kids leaving....

I always do it, either at home, work, or school. While at school or work I make special trips outside just to take a peek doesn't matter if it is clean, dirty, dry, or rain.

WOW I thought being a newbie I was freak!!!....always looking back......I just started detailing my first DD which is 7 months old......and first vehicle I've ever cared about....but now I glad I'll never get over this feeling:hurray:
