(Please allow poll to be posted for 1 week before adding a new poll... Thanks!)

I am just doing out of my home. I mostly do my own cars, but have been doing a few for friends on the side to make some extra money.

That's how I started out a few years ago. Now I detail a couple cars a week in addition to my own. (Not so much during the winter!)

If someone wants mobile, I just throw my bag in the car with all my stuff, two buckets, some ONR, polisher, pads, MF's, polish, sealant, QD, basically everything! Even a couple big jugs of water.... (and don't forget that extension cord!):Dancing Dot:

Will definitly do a mobile detail. I just like to pack the night before hand, refill bottles, and make sure everything is good to go.

Some of my clients definitly have a nicer setup than I do. :)

^ There, fixed it :wizard:

wow, that's sumthin first thing in the morning!!

I am strictly mobile. Most have you have seen my 'ol International setup ( avatar ). I use that for most details. I also have a large trailer with a hot water setup for fleets and heavy equipment.

I do both and that's a good thing . The best of both worlds. Plus i'm finding out more people like it when you can go to them :driving:

I agree! I think customers appreciate the convenience of mobile service! That way they don't have to arrange for someone to pick them up from my place and then bring them back to pick up the car!!!

Also you can expand your area because people don't want to travel a long way just to get their car detailed. You going to them or going out of your area is a benefit to you and your business . Having both works great for the local customers too!

Unfortunately, spam filters cannot always prevent pictures in posts.
I have numerous filters in place for text, etc., but when a pic is embeded, well.....
