I have historically given my cars names. For example.....

'86 S-10 Blazer: Camille

'88 Caprice Classic: PITA (you can figure out what that means and I gave it that name based on the problems I had)

'94 Maxima GXE: Maxine Vanessa (Like 4DSC said, there are a lot of peeps who name their Maximas Max or Maxine. I just added a middle name to differentiate)

As you can see, my current Maxima is named Daria Renee. :D

I've never thought about naming my car other than a 74 Dodge dart...which was always PIS.

However, if I ever buy an old, worn out, over the hill beater I'll definately name it Senator Robert Byrd.....maybe it will keep on running just like he does :D

My Tacoma is white, and it is named Casper. I have a 87 camry beater, that is named leave it. I can leave it wherever the hell I feel like, without worrying too much about it!

deffinatley have to name the ride.

My red 1990 Mustang was "Cherry" and my 98 Dodge Ram is "Daisy" I also had a rice burner that I called "Dizzy"...

I hear you on the Max, Maxine for Maximas. My nephew actually named his Maxximus. I thought that was pretty cool and a "little" different. If you've seen the movie Gladiator it gives it a nice effect. I myself, don't name my cars... not yet at least.
