Do you guys cancel clients when it rains??

I was wondering what you guys do when it rains and a client brings you their car for detail...
If you know it is going to rain in the next few days, do you guys book the client anyway..I guess you do..money is money..
But what do you do about after the hours spent deatiling the car-the second you take it out and the client leaves with the car it is already dirty by the time he gets home..rain splash etc etc..

I did a truck a few weeks ago..but it was a already booked appointment..it rained all day..I brought the truck back to the owner in the rain..It's pretty hard for him to see the results in that situation..so what do you tell him:

1."it shines..really it does" :angel

2."bring it back on the next sunny day and I'll give it a 'Gloss Enhancer' pass";)

3."well, look how it beads.." :bigups

The work that we do to a vehicle is not deterred or diminished by rain or snow. The carpet is still immaculate, the scratches are still gone, the finish is still protected, the interior is still odor neutal, and on and on...

We do offer a "Rainy Day" guarantee, but no one has ever taken advantage of it!

That's just one advantage of having a fixed location.

Here is what I do. If possible, I'll take the vehicle back myself and do a quick detail spray on it if its not raining. I have found out the customer really appreciates the service too. I also tell them to bring it back for a free hand wash and quick exterior detail too. However, no one has taken the offer-must have done an awesome job :dunno

hi being mobile if it rains i usually dont work unless my customers have a garage big enoughto work in comfortably. the problem that the rain causes is that usually i am booked at least a week sometimes 2 in advanced and if it rains on your day and you waited a week to have me do your car i cant expect you to wait another week to reschedule so sometimes it can make for a long day if i have to double up on cars. luckily most of my regulars are understanding and will let me reschedule a week or so.

DITTO--And i've even called the next sunny day and invited them in for a "freshen-up" and they are usually satisfied with the interior alone and the "protection" that they can see--via good beading!!
But I do let them know we appreciate them keeping there appointment even with the rain! and offer a 10% discount on there next clean-up. In my book it says allot about there integrity if they show up in the rain anyway! Even though I would of understood if they canceled.
