Do I really need a trim cleaner? (GR-40)?

Won't an kAIO or zAIO + a toothbrush do the trick? Or should I shell out the $20 for this...

If the trim is textured/porous you will make out much better with GR-40. It makes a big difference when trim is cleaned before dressing/treating.

Well why don't you try KAIO or ZAIO first, and tell us how it works.

I have tried multiple cleaners and they all seem to stain or dry out. Go with the gr40

it work well for me (KAIO + KSG)

but I have not used GR-40 so I don't know if I am missing something special:nixweiss

AIO product will work fine in many cases. The times that they *don't* work might cost you some coin. GR-40 works in all cases IME.
