Do I need the megs burgandy pad for VW clear with a rotary?

I am detailing my brothers 02 Jetta (black, used to be mine), the paint is pretty scuffed up, moderate swirls. Anyway, I have a rotary, megs finishing pad, and polishing pad, do I need the burgandy or will that be overkill with a rotary?

Also, I was going to pick up some M80 and M83. Any other suggestions? (the reason for Megs products is I can get them all locally)

Heres basically what I will be working with over the entire car.

I like the W7006(burgundy pad) on cars with harder clears.

Sorry can´t help you so much with the Megs product.

But test MG85 and MG80.

Can you say.....test panel? Just start on a panel with the less aggressive pad, check your results, and move up if you need to.

I found those megs pad just hologram way too much and aren't nearly as nice as the LC VC pads I have. From ppl I talk to that use rotaries a lot there are nicer pads out there than the LC too..do a search. I first bought the megs pads cuz they were at my local store but I just couldn't get the results or control I wanted. Good luck.

It'd be nice to have the burgandy in case but I think (keep in mind I have no rotary experience) you can get by with a polishing pad and Meg's polishes.
