Do I have enough pads for a light correction?

Once the weather breaks here in NY, I will be be polishing my 09 135i. The paint is in great shape, and only has a tiny amount of swirling.



Obviously, dawn & clay first.



I was going to start with Menzerna PO106FF with a LC Hydrotech Tangerine 5.5" pad.



Then Mezerna P085RD with LC Hydrotech Cyan 5.5" pad.



Then CG Jetseal 109 with LC Blue CCS 6.5"pad



I also purchased the EDGE adapter for my Flex, and have 3M 4" pads in every color. Figured theyd be used for boot lip, pillars, sideskirts, etc.



back to my question.....Do I have enough pads to polish a car?



for the main pads, I have 2 of each......2 cyan 5.5, 2 tangerine 5.5, 2 ccs blue 6.5



for the 4" pads, I have 1 of each.....orange, green, blue, white..but since theyre double sided, they basically count as 2.

youre going to want to wash them out a couple times...



on correction work, I usually go through about 8 PFW pads, or 8 orange pads. I know some people are more, and some are less.



I'll use a pad for two panels (fender and door) and then toss it in the laundry pile and just grab a new pad



for the polishing pads, I usually go through 3-4 white pads, 2 blue pads, one sealant pad.

i was thinking I had them backwards when I was typing up my question. I would have checked online before I started polishing, to make sure i was using the proper pads.
 
AntonV- I'd probably use something with a bit more cut than 106FF with the cyan pad...let the product do the work rather than "forcing" it with a somewhat aggressive pad.



And if you do use 106FF, beware of concealing/"filling", which that product via PC can do like you'd never believe (first-hand observation under controlled conditions, simply astounded me).



I too use a *LOT* of pads...stopping to clean, and *DRY*, pads is a PIA, and I hear the hydrotechs (like the Griot's I use via Flex) need to be thoroughly dried out before you resume work with them.
