It's a balancing act manufactures have between getting the highest mileage out of the pads and rotors and keeping the dust down.
I'm sure a lot of you remember the days of asbestos no dust but you drop dead instead.
Over the last five years I've seen Volvo change there brake pads material at least six times to combat dusting and Brake wear and squeaking problems.
Just when they think they get it solved another problem pops up.
We carry Inf inti/Jaguar/Range Rover/Volvo all the customers complain about the same problem.
I just use a good wheel wax and try and keep them clean but ceramics are on the way for the Vette
