any one got some good mixes?

I'm just using a bit of quality car wash + 1 drop of scratch remover + a tiny bit of liquid wax. with distilled water at the moment premixed. Used to use some meguires quik detailer before.

But I'm wondering if anyone has their own magic mix that can subsitute for your average quick detailing spray.

scratch remover is the last thing you should be putting into a detail spray

just get some ONR

Well, I don't know if ONE drop will do any harm if its diluted with a full sprayer of water? I've heard people diluting kAIO in this manner as well. I've never tried it, and agree its easier just to buy a QD off the market. Me being the furthest thing from a chemist, I'd leave the mixing up to the mixers :)

Get some ready made, you'll be glad you did.

Buy in bulk. A gallon is not that expensive. I just got some FK425...

What are you trying to accomplish? I like straight AquaWax.

Try not to use AW more than once a month and don't over apply. More than monthly applications can cause color muting, happened to my flake.

Haven't experienced that yet, but thanks for the heads up. I do have metallic flakes in my paint, so I'll definitely keep that in mind.

FC&S and AW. 50/50

Driven to Perfection Quick Spray and Aussie Gold Showroom Glaze 50/50

CK Quik Shine & DP Final Gloss Booster (awesome glass QD)

Prima Slick & FK1 425 50/50

I'm not a big QD person (besides using it to boost shine), but if the reason for making up some DIY QD is due to costs, I don't think anything beats ONR in QD dilution. Works well enough for me as far as cleaning goes.
