Sorry, I was referring to Lake County pads that CMA and TOL sell. The yellow is the cutting pad.

I didn't read many of the previous threads. However, I just started using the PC with the TOTL pads yesterday. I'm using DACP with the yellow pad (it's not THAT agressive). It does a great job. I'd start out with the yellow and see where you go from there. It's not going to get out some scratches. However, I took a flashlight to see if I was actually getting the swirls out (darn flourescent lighting) and sure enough, they're gone. Great product. Just remember not to use a lot )maybe 4 dabs the size of a penny, and work in 2X2 (3x3 maximum) areas until it turns clear and powders. Works really great. I'm very happy with DACP and the PC.

If that list is correct, then #2 is the same abrasive level of ScratchX with a 5 on a scale of 10 and DACP is a 6.
Yeah I've seen that list several times.... I personally don't like it though, because it also lists the 3M SMR products at the same aggressiveness as Scratch-X , 3M FCRC, and Meguiar's #2 Fine Cut!  Surely no one would agree with that?

Totally disregarding the list or Meguiar's abrasiveness rating (which is UNOFFICIAL IIRC...) I've seen a lot of people suggest a Fine Cut product when DACP isn't strong enough. It probably has to do with the DACP breaking down so quickly, whereas the Fine Cut products don't do this as much and probably stay more consistent as you use it. I'm pretty sure the 3M version is designed this way intentionally.
