Disposable cotton wipes - cheaper

Nice. I keep some dedicated micro fiber applicator pads for metals, but this might be a more convenient method.

I get mine from Bay Press Services 8 rolls for $78.

I use them to apply polish in tight areas on paint and on raw aluminum and magnesium, but I use microfiber for removing the residue. For exhaust tips and the like I use my almost used up microfibers then throw them away. I don't trust my washing to get all the metal polish residue out and I don't want to cross contaminate even though I wash twice.

Ah, those prices are sure better than Griot's!

They sure are. The Griot's $20 ones can be put aside for wristwatch cleaning or something.:lol

Need to cut down on sending funding for that restored Coca-Cola plant... heh heh.

Thanks for this post guys I was going through the same thing.
