I applied nxt 2.0 with a blue pad at speed 2 with a Porter Cable. The car look almost exactly the same after I polished with menzerna final polish 2.

Am I doing something wrong?

p21 cleaning lotion

final polish

applied nxt 2.0

Let sit for 15 minutes.

Wiped off.

Haven't experienced NXT.2 with machine application but by hand I feel it looks very good. If you are still displeased try doing a panel by hand and seeing if that makes any difference.

The theory that it will look better in 24 hours also is correct.

The polish gives you the shine.

The NXT will give you depth and protection.

It looks good in the pictures.

Its hard to make Gold look really super, its clean it doesn't have swirls and it shines but its darn near impossible to get it to have that WOW.

You should check on the Megs website, but I believe NXT 2.0 is for hand application only while #21 2.0 is for machine application.

think its the colour TBH - on my dark silver it didnt do much either TBH, but on a dark red pearl it was awesome. The only thing I have found which makes a big impact on the colour has been UPGP - great wet gloss :D

NXT 2 gives a more noticable improvement on darker colors in my experience. Since you polished with Menzerna, there isn't a whole lot of room left for improvement anyway.

The car looks great! If the LSP doesn't improve the look of the car much, then I know I did a really good polishing job on it. If the LSP really adds alot of wow, I know I left some shine in my final polish bottle.

+ a lot! :buffing:

Like everyone else said:

-NXT does more to dark colors

-wait 24 hours to pass judgment

-Gold is harder to make you go "WOW"

-Polishing well is key

-Most important --> Your paint makes me go "WOW" :2thumbs:

Also natural light, as in outside, is always a better place to veiw the whole car to get an idea of the look. My trucks look good in the garage, but look great outside in the sun.
