Dirt inside speaker grille

Anyway to clean dirt inside a speaker grille? I've put some Griots interior clean on a MF and rubbed the surface, but the dirt looks like it's down inside. I'm afraid to spray the cleaner directly on the grille because the speaker is electronic. And, cleaner just sitting on the speaker where I can't wipe it off doesn't sound like it'd do much anyway.

You may have to remove the panel -- which typically isn't too difficult. Is is loose dirt, or caked-on? Have you tried compressed air (within reason -- not to damage speaker)? Electronic Air Duster?

He pretty well has it nailed. That only thing I can add is if you don't remove the panel, you could add a long bristled brush to your arsenal. This is of course in conjunction with the air and is just going to push the dirt out of the holes into the panel where it can't be seen.
