Difference between 7424XP and 7346SP Porter Cables?

So my first question right off the bat... what's the difference between these two models? I heard the XP7424 is an improvement in design and power over the original, but it's no longer listed on Porter Cables website. So is the 7346SP sander/polisher the replacement for the XP? If not... what's the difference. I ask because I saw at Lowes the 7346SP for $129 and it caught my eye.



Second question... is it enough of an improvement to be worth upgrading from my current 7336 to it?

I used the XP for 6 months when it came out. I do not think its worth the upgrade. I much prefer the Meg G110v2 over the XP. Less vibration, better feel in your hands.
