CorvetteCentral.com has them in stock. When i bought mine, they had 17, which i purchased 6 cans... They are out of Michigan.

part number - 101885 $7.95 a can

I can't find it locally or online at all... I looked all last summer.

Just putting this up if anyone was in the same boat i was in and couldn't find it.

Ya know...i've tried a bunch of aerosol engine cleaners but i think it's more

hype and marketing. Meguiars Super Degreaser, a few brushes and water

does the job well enough.

CD2 is not a cleaner it's an engine dressing. I've been using it for years and it leaves a really nice look and lasts for quite a while. Plus it doesn't attract dust like many other dressings.

Its very good, however if you want it to stay on the parts you spray it on you have to let it sit for while before wiping it down. The problem comes in when you let it sit too long, it puts spots all over everything.

Overall its an excellent product... I used it exclusively until recently when I discovered the NEW Meguiars trim shine which IMO trumps it.

Are you referring to Meguiar's Aerosol Trim Detailer?

The product description seems to suggest using it on non-painted surfaces.

"Meguiar's Aerosol Trim Detailer shines and protects all non-painted plastic, trim and rubber surfaces"

If it is working for you as an engine detailer, it evidently doesn't create any problem for you when used on painted surfaces.

The thing about CD/2 that I like is that it is an acrylic based product that dries hard and totally non-oily. This means it doesn't hold on to dust and dirt. It leaves a nice new-look sheen and lasts for months.

I used to use other protectants but all of them left a thin oily film that actually made the engine get dirtier faster.

One thing that might make the CD2 a little harder to find is the location of the product in the Auto Zone store I went to.

It is with the engine chemicals along with the oil additives and not with the car care products.

Just checked my local Autozone and it's like $6.29 a can. I remember the panic when folks thought it was being discontinued.

Last year I picked up the last 2 bottles at my local AZ. I was thinking, WHEW got the last 2 bottles as I heard it was discontinuing. Then couple days ago when i was up there picking up the clearance items, there was a full stock of it sitting there.

I like it in wheel wells too.
