Did VOC effect IW's durability?

I am a recent Collinite 845 IW convert (I absolutely love this stuff) so I can't comment on the new vs. the old formulas yet. I ordered mine from MacTec with shipping charges included in the price and got it very fast. MacTec sent the new formula and I think it works great. I also had Advance Auto Parts special order two more bottles for me since they don't carry it at my local store, they had it to me in 24 hours and I avoided shipping charges and it is the older formula. I have not tried the older formula at this time though. I should have enough 845 for quite a while.

Just order IW. If I'm not satisfied with the "look", I'm sure I can find use for it protecting my bumper and front hood from bugs damage.

Also may use it on my roof.

no cleaners but I wonder if the strong solvents can remove what you layer it over

I had a black rubber smudge on my blue paint that I noticed when i was applying IW and i went over it and IW removed most of the smudge, that got me wondering about the strenght of the solvents

as far as it softening a sealant that could be a possibility. IMO 845 is strong enough to not need a sealant under it. Also Collinite claims that 845 and 476 are layerable (over themselves)

Also, what's the best place to be Collinite?

Probably a Halloween party. If you were to be Collonite someplace else people might think you were weird.

You mean the other way around don't you? Sealant then IW.

the description of the extreme top coat sealant so i figured id try it

the final top-coat that goes over new cars, used cars, waxed or glazed surfaces or recently clayed surfaces to lock in the shine and protect against contamination, UV Rays and oxidation.
