Did some wheel polishing....

My buddy had some welds on his fox body that were looking pretty dull so I decided to make them look good again for them.



Products:

wolfgang aluminum compound

wolfgang aluminum polish

megs #21 syn sealant (I kno I need to get some wheel sealant but oh well)

Wool metal compounding pad

The car still needs to be wetsanded and buffed but its a start.....

Wow, that is one ugly car....LOL



You dont need to use wheel sealant. I use Z2 on my wheels or 4star UPP.

Yea it isnt pretty but he got it in a straight trade for a 1991 Integra that he had with a blown motor and no interior so he basically stole it. I am trying to talk him into painting it all black. Would look sick with the polished wheels.



this was actually my 1st time using my metal polish, I have never had to use it. I was amazed in how they came out. Now I have to polish the alloys on my dually......
 
well done, does this process show many swirls in direct sunlight? I need to do my prostars and my friend is wanting to do his draglites as well.
 
Great stuff. Mother's polishes also work excellent for these types of things as well. Your friend is lucky to have you for things like this.
