Looks good! How long have you had it?

Thanks Ben!

I will be posting up reviews of them but for now I haven't used them long enough to decidedly make a statement. But I was given my Adam's order for reviews!

Initial thoughts for the products:

APC: Definitely a good product. Safe, yet very effective. I would say comparable to Optimum's Power Clean. I have to try different dilutions, but 1:10 is the lowest dilution I'm told it is still effective. A gallon is $30 so it is expensive, but so is OPC. I really like on the sprayer that you can have it either come out as a stream or a foam. Definitely a huge plus. Smells nice too.

Super VRT: Applied easy, but I didn't like the foam block applicator it came with. However, it did actually come with an applicator unlike some products, so that is a plus. Smells great (I think strawberry, but not 100% sure on that). Wasn't hard to buff off of paint nor glass, but it wasn't like one swipe and the product was off either. Definitely did live up to the beading promise (I checked immediately). As advertised, it was not greasy either. Will need more testing for sure.

its probably one of the most overlooked areas of detailing. you can have the car perfect but a dirty engine. same with wheel wells. mostly on suv's and trucks. the wells dressed just makes the job look done. alltho i know i am the only one at work and in my neighbor hood that dresses the wells. lol....

what do you use?

Hi,

Great work on that engine detailing.

Can you provide dditional information on how each one of the products were applied to clean the components in the engine?

I think I understand about the metal polishing but the APC diid you just squirt it on then spray it off or scrubb/wipe it off? What made the plastic components so blackand clean looking? How did you use the Meguiar's tool?

Thanks!

Thanks!!

Sprayed the apc liberally all over, used a mothers wheel brush to work in the apc.

Rinsed with my hose from about 3 feet away (to avoid unnecessary water pressure).

I used Adam's SVRT on the plastic for a dressed satin look (not too glossy and not matte). Carpro PERL gives a similar look. You can also use tire dressings for a glossier look like the Pinnacle Onyx dressing.

The meguiars tool was used to polish the metal. Apply metal polish to the foam cone, spread around on the metal (have not turned it on yet, as the polish will go slinging everywhere if you do), and then once the polish is spread around everywhere, turn on the drill and polish the metal using the foam cone.
