Did Meguiars M105 change in formulation?

I picked up my first bottle when it first came out and got it from ADS. It was a cream color similar to the container it came in.

I just got a new pint from AutoGeek and to my suprise when I took the seal off, it's white in the new bottle?

Went out in the garage and fired up the rotary really quick and threw some on the trunk of the Audi and it seems to be just as finiky to use so I'm guessing it's just the same. Just curious if anyone eles has seen the color change and can verify that I"m not in for any suprises when I use it in my detail tomorrow.

M105 has not been around for very long, so I doubt there are many guys have bought two bottles of it. For what it's worth, I bought mine about three months ago and the color is off-white, almost white.

I've gone through six 32oz'ers of M105 and one gallon, all white. M95 is a beige-y sort of color.

What he said...the white is M105, and the beige sounds like M95. Did the beige have a longer working time but with similar cut and finish to the white M105? :think2

Mislabled? Can you rub a drop in between two cd-r's and take pics? If you see lots of damage it's M95 or another older tech polish, M105 produces nearly no damage. But if it works as long as M95 and has the same super micro abrasives I'm gonna order where you've got it from and hope for beige M105.

Outstanding photo. The 95 on the left is exactly the color that my first bottle of 105 was...and the white on the right is exactly like the new bottle.

However after using it on 2 cars this weekend I don't think the first one was mislabled 95. Both have extremely short working time...and if anything I think the new bottle of white stuff doesn't finish down as nicely as the last bottle did. I'm guessing that's more the paint that I was working on than anything else really.

If I get a minute tonight I'll shoot my own photos. But rest assured they both work and act exactly the same.
