did i read correctly about microfiber towels?

The white cotton DF Concours towels will drive you insane as they lint all over your perfect, black finish as you remove the LSP... unless you wash them first.

Remember to follow the manufacturer's directions for washing. Just remember: no fabric softener!

A few veteran members here also recommend 1/2-1 cup vinegar during the rinse cycle, to really get rid of any leftovers on the microfiber. Not sure exactly what type of vinegar, perhaps other members can comment on this method.

the girlfriend tells me you should, and whether or not really dirty a cup of white vinegar with the regular measure of detergent in the wash cycle is the answer. her results are amazing, so I'd listen.

i always wash mine first because they accumulate dust, etc... in between the time they are made, shipped/boxed, and wherever they're sold. and you don't want to take a risk of scratching your finish. better safe than sorry...
