Did an extremely dirty LS430.

My neighbor has never washed this, i dont think... And he drives a lot.

Used Dawn Wash -> 3m SMR (need some DACP!!!!) -> Klasse AIO -> S100 Wax

The after pictures dont show how much of an impovement it was.

Oh yeah...if anyone is wondering, that bucket in the first picture is just what i use for the tires/wheels with a dirty sponge. Wouldnt ever put my mitt in there!!



And the tire dressing on the clean wheel looks streaky and inconsitent because of the flash, they really looked good. :bounce :bounce
 
His wife was ecstatic...but he's not very talkative... Although he did say he'd be calling soon to have me do their van, and he paid me $10 more then what i asked.;) :D So i guess that means he likes it. (Also, i thought my quote might have been a bit high, and he said "Is that enough??")

Regarding the car, we're fixing it, just waiting for my parts guy to ship the parts (he saved me over $1400 on brand new OEM parts). Always helps to have a fellow SVX owner in charge of parts at the busiest Suby dealer in the country. ;) :bounce

No, almost all of my customers dont care, and i still havent even done it on my car. Once i do it on my car, and get some practice doing it, then i'll start doing it to other people's cars. Which might be a while, considering my car is disabled, and the parts i need are in PA... :(
 
Wow! That is a huge difference!



It is a shame that anyone with that nice a car would let it get so bad though. Hope they paid you very well for your work.
 
Why wouldnt you use that bucket to put your mitt in?

I bought two buckets at wall mart that is just about the same thing as that but is blue. One bucket is for rinse and the other is for soapy water for the paint on the car.

Because it's what i use for wheels/tires, and it pretty much caked with brake dust and stuff that wont wash outta there...and it's way too small!
