Dg 601?

I just picked up some DG601 and 105. I've been using 501 topped with 111 and have liked the results but decided to try 105 based off of reviews on here. SO my question. If I lay a base coat of 501 do I need to lay down 601 before 105? and since 105 has some cleaners in it will it take off the 501? I am planning on waiting 24 hrs before applying 601 or 105 what ever it ends up being after the coat of 501. Does 105 layer on itself for a better look or is it pointless?

You can layer the 105 even though it has cleaners in it . I'm not exactly sure about the 601 , but it can't hurt.



What did you like or dislike about the 501/111 combo ?? How many layers of 111 did you apply ?



I have 501 (x1) and like it. Cleans really well and shines great. I just left it for a few weeks without putting a topper on or AW or anything just to see what it would look like and hold up.

I liked 501 topped with 111, i did 3 coats of 501. just expirmenting with new products. 501 is a grat AIO and i use it as a base fore everything now.

601 is a bonding agent for clean paint not sure if it would work right with 501 already down??,i use 601 then 105 remove together then 476 x 2. very durable

looong lasting great looking finish.

sure I read that while 601 cleans, it wont remove a fully cured layer of sealant, so if you do as you suggest and leave it 12-24 hours between 501--601 you should be OK. You might do just as well to use 601--105 (x2) though and save a step...

I don't understand why you would want to put a coat of 601 on after a coat of 501 as it is a cleaning and bonding agent--states right on the bottle "Loosens old wax and polish"
