DG 601/105 Combo

So I been reading about this combo to help DG 105 last longer and cure faster. My question is how do you use this combo? Do you apply 601, then while still wet, apply 105 and buff out together? Or do you do the 4:1 mix ratio?

Thanks

Lots of people mix the two, I've never seen any evidence of adding 601 and it improving the durability of 105 alone. 105 is great by itself. 111 seems to like 601.

I also have never felt the 601 added any durability (105 alone gives me 6+ months), but used it just to speed curing so a second coat of whatever could be added in 2 hours. However, this is from the DG Website, "Step Saver Tip - Blend 4 parts #105 to 1 part 601, Polish Bonding Agent for added durability and gloss. Accelerates the curing process for instant bonding. Apply within 2 hours after mixing for maximum results."

The only thing I can think it accelerates is their profits.

Hmmm. ok, this will bring me to my original plan where after i clay, i would use DG 101 to clean the paint, and then apply DG 105.

Many DG proponents will recommend 501 for cleaning/very light correction/protection as a stand alone or base for 105.

I see. I work by hand only so I figured DG 101 is the closes thing to the typical KAIO that I use.

Will the DG 501 work well by hand with a mf applicator?

Better than DG101. With the harbor freight machine being so cheap now, there is really no reason to do things by hand, unless you don't value your time at all.
