DetailKing - ZFX ?

The retail version is going to come in special bottles with graduations on it so one can ration out the proper does of ZFX for one coat, 2 coats, 3 coats, etc, etc. This way you don't waste your entire does if you only want to do one car or have a very small car. These special bottles come from the pharmacutical industry and are part of the release delay.....

I noticed a difference on my silver Z-28 with ZFX...didn't really hit me till a few days later though......give it time.

<strong class='bbc'>Sal was kind enough to send me some ZFX two months ago or so. He sent a 2 oz. bottle that is to be used for mixing the product. The only bad thing, not really a bad thing though, is that once you mix the product, you have to use it. You only have 7 or 8 hours in which to use it. After that, its useless.

Honestly, I really couldn't tell the difference in shine between a regular coat of Z-2 and ZFX mixed with the Z-2. But then again, I was very new with the Zaino system two months ago. Laters. [/b]</blockquote>
I tried ZFX last June. Can't remember now if I used it with the Z5 or Z2. I was in a hurry that day, but I did put on 2 coats one right after the other. I have never had any long drying times with Zaino since I started using it in the summer of 1998, so that aspect of ZFX doesn't phase me. However, being able to apply more than one coat in a single day does appeal to me. The more, the better.:D

I THINK the ZFX pics are in my signature below, but I won't know until I post this because I copied my sig from my acura-cl.com sig file!:)

<strong class='bbc'>When's the ZFX coming out? All of these people are trying out samples for months now so one would guess it must be coming out soon.. [/b]</blockquote>Sal has just been so busy that he has not had time to finish the packaging. Should be soon though.

Hi Fastdriver

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here. I remember you from when I used to go to Edmunds.

BTW, FLONI is OK. He was just ribbing. This forum is incredibly civil and respectful. There are some great members here.

Fellow Autopians: Fastdriver is cool and knowledgeable. Its an asset to have him join. [/b]</blockquote>Thanks! I know(?) FLONI was j/k. Guess I just get carried away with that Zaino shine.:D I love to spread the word about it to all those who really like their cars and like to drive a shiny one! I know how I felt when I first started reading about it back in 1998 in Edmunds. All the raves and kudos sounded like an infomercial to me!:D It also sounded like a lot of work. Neither was true.

I kept reading about Zaino and figured that I had nothing to lose since I already had a garage full of waxes/polishes/cleaners etc. I took the plunge and have never looked back! I've been called a shill and a stockholder and probably a few other things. WISH I was a stockholder!

Over the years, I've had a few questions about things and have called or e-mailed my "gruff":D friend Sal! He has ALWAYS been helpful. Love that "gruff" NY accent!

As I have said in Edmunds MANY times, I don't care what anyone uses on their car. I KNOW what my car looks like and so do many people across this country because of all my pics. A pic may be worth a thousand words, but I think mine are worth a million.;)

As soon as I figure out WHAT I'm doing wrong with my non-working links in my sig, I'll post the pic links so that everyone here can see that incredible Zaino shine too.

The idea that you can mix or ration out one or two coats of ZFX with Z-2 sounds inviting. I might be one who gives it a try. Laters.

It is nice and tight. No flapping.

I can't believe you read that 300M soap opera! When I go back and read it myself, I wonder how I EVER put up with all their CRAP! It was like a nightmare! EVERY word is true. I wouldn't own another Chrysler product if it was the LAST car on earth! I've always said that the looks are there, but the "quality" and their "5-STAR" dealers leave MUCH to be desired! Too much!

I stuck to my guns with them, but I know that if I didn't call Auburn Hills, MI, I wouldn't have ever had ANY of my problems resolved! I even got the disposition fee at the end of the lease waived. I told them in Auburn Hills, MI that that was the LEAST they could do for me with all the problems that I had for the 33 months that I owned the car. I gave them my VIN number and told them that #3,300 worth of warranty work in that period of time was a bit much for me. I also told them that NO dealer ever so much as offered me a free oil change and that this was the LEAST they could do for me! They said they would get back to me after they checked it out. A short time later, someone from Auburn Hills did call me back and told me that she was waiving the disposition fee. My original call to Chrysler "customer service" ended with them telling me that Chrysler NEVER waives that fee. I said that I didn't think everyone has #3,300 worth of warranty work done either in 33 months. I told them that we'll see about this. That's when I called MI.

So far, this car, with 10,400 miles has been a DREAM! Not ONE problem! Two dealer visits for oil/filter changes and a tire rotation/balance. That's it!

BTW, I fixed that first link. Thanks for letting me know that it wasn't working. After I finally got them listed correctly last night, it was too late to check them. I have some new pics to put up from this afternoon after I washed the car and applied some ZFX. I'll post them a little later tonight.

Remember, when you KNOW you're right, you have to stick to your guns or they'll keep pulling the same crap over and over again!
