My dads bmw is about a year old and he takes pretty good care of it, but I know its about time for him to wax it. im away taking summer classes right now, but i'll be back home in a bit and want to help him with this.

Should he clay a year old 545i? What about using Klasse AIO and then Klasse High gloss sealant glaze. is souveran put on top of the glaze or is it only used if you do the AIO approach? His car looks like this

i know he wont use a bunch of products like Zaino. and since he doesnt have paint defects yet, i'm sure the AIO + something else is going to be his preferred approach. is there something better than AIO he might want to use? Menzerna? Pinnacle?

I would clay a car from brand new so, I would definatley clay the car as the first stage off a detail.

If the car is swirl free AIO, SG and a good carnuba topper would be my plan. I doubt Would use Souveran on that colour, I would go for p21s/s100, #16, Nattys or Signature.

I'd do clay/AIO/SG/Nattys. You'll have to use a swirl mark removing polish after the clay if there are any swirls (and you want to get rid of them).

Clay/swirl remover if needed/AIO/Acrylic Jett (Jeff's Werkstatt), aka nano-technology Carlack and if you feel the need to top it, I'd go with Optimum's Car Wax.

what about P21s paint cleaner? should he do that after clay?

P21S Paint Cleaner would be an alternative to the AIO, if you were going to go strictly with a carnauba system. If you have the P21S Paint Cleaner and Wax, then do clay/swirl remover (if necessary)/P21S Paint Cleaner/P21S Wax. If you have the Klasse products, do clay/swirl remover (if necessary)/AIO/Sealant Glaze/(Carnauba topper if desired).
