"Detailing" vs. "$25 Hand Wash"

nice job prince, you also said in this post that they could spend half that at the local wash n swirl, so you charged fifty for that job?
 
you did a good thorough job dude, i hate charging too little and hate seeing others do the same, it's worth a lot more than most people realize. when youre not in a very successful area sometimes you gotta bite the bullet. you used a lot of products, you used them correctly to properly service that car. in the future i hope you charge at least 120 dollars for that *exterior* job on that size car.

I agree with you....and it sounds like we are on the same page.



My basic exterior detail is $90 and I charge and additional $25 for cleaning/protectant of fabric convertible top so a total of $115.



And in hindsight, it may have taken me a little more than 3 hours, maybe somewhere between 3 and 4 .... I wasn't exactly timing myself but I tried to approximate when people asked earlier in this post. I don't dawdle but I do try to be thorough ... in other words I'm working as fast as humanly possible but making sure to take enough time to take care of the details.
