Detailing Supplies on an Airplane?

Has anyone attempted to travel with their PC and products. I know aerosols would be out of the question, but has anyone packed their PC and non-aerosol products in a seperate suitcase and checked it? Any help is much appreciated.

I tried to once .

After 2 hours in the TSA security office, with MSDS sheets, and having EVERY bottle opened and poured on the table (with a match put to it, to see if it would burn), I decided from then on I would ship them ahead.

BTW, they do NOT like the looks of a clay bar - for some reason, they think it could be a plastic explosive.

I brought some Meguiars stuff (their gift bag) back on the plane when I was out there last year. No clay though but most of it was in my carry on. Just some sprays, mfs, etc.

Oh jeez. It's funny to read, but I'll bet it was hell to go through. I'm glad I wasn't behind you in line. Too bad there were no detailers among the security guys wgho would have recognized the Mother's name!

I feel so much safer after reading this

How was the finish on the table after they were done? Were they able to layer anything? What do you expect the durability to be in the typical security office environment? Was the curing accelerated by the match? :waxing:
