Detailing question

So I've been keeping my e34 white BMW in pretty good shape if I do say so myself. I finally got my hands on some Meg's #16 and want to use my menz polish now.

Have a PC with the white polishing pads and the red and black finishing/wax pads.

I'll be using meg's paint cleaner to clean the paint of the old meg's #26 wax thats on there.

Then i plan to apply the menz polish on a white pad at 5 for several passes to see how it works out the few remaining scratches on the car (I am waiting for an orange cutting pad and considering getting some megs #83 or 105(?)).

Then onto the megs #7 glaze

Finishing with the Megs #16. Should this be done by hand or can I use the black finishing pad to work it in before it sets?

---

In about a week I'm getting a shipment of Optimum Polish and Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze which I'll use in plaec of the menz, then seal and wax over that.

Sound good? Missing anything?

Thanks!

It looks like with the menz final polish II i dont need to use cleaner, is that right? or would it be beneficial to use the cleaner and let the polish work out the scratches more

when you apply #16, make sure to do a nice thin coat or else you'll be in for a workout. i prefer to apply lsp's by PC as i get uniform coverage and use less product...
