Tried to do a search but didn't pull up much.

I'm thinking about buying a steam cleaner that I can use for a lot of different tasks. Engine compartment, interior, wheel wells, etc.

I'm not to sure how to use one though. Are they that hard to use? Does anyone know a guide for one?

What are the risks involved besides melting some plastic and getting steam into electronics?

Just gone through the process of buying one for the home. Look at the Karcher Vaporapid - it is a good unit for a fair price. Many cheaper models are that, cheap and nasty. As I am in Australia my links to websites are not much help.

I have one and it's great. I thought my wife was nuts when she bought it on the home shopping club, but when i saw how she cleaned with it, i took it right out to my customer's cars and started to do the wheels with it. Dirt came right off, no mess, no wheel cleaner needed, just steam. It's great for the engine to.

It's worth the $$.

I'm looking for some for my new garage, where can I find some?

I have meguiars, valugaurd and carbrite at my shop but looking for higher end good looking ones for my so called detailing studio
