Detailing Product Advice

I have a 2004 Black Corvette and am looking for advice on what product to use for wax/polish. I have used Zaino but I am looking for a deep dark shine rather than the wet/shiney plastic look that Zaino gives me. I see nothing but good things said about Poorboy products, but want to make sure it will give me the look I am after.



I am open to any suggestions as to product and equipment needed, as I am new to the detail game. The car is not a daily driver and is really only driven on nice days if that info. is relevant.

Are you looking for a wax or sealant.



For a wax, I'd go with NXT from Meguiar's.



For a sealant, Klasse or Wolfgang will probably give you the look you're after.



Have you considered topping the Zaino with something like Meguiar's No. 26 HiTech Wax. That may give you the wet look you are looking for.



Since it isn't a daily driver, I'd be inclined to go with NXT and see if you like it.
 
I loved the NXT on my 98 red vette. And the NXT looks great on my wifs black cabrio. Only thing that doesn't streak.
 
Ditto the NXT. Ditto the Poorboys EX. Want to mention 1Z Glanz.



Once you move away from Zaino, you can mix and match your products. Zaino is just so picky on adhesion if you play around.
