detailing on fiberglass different?

hi guys i have a '91 mr2 with a full bomex body kit. when i got it painted back in nov. 05 they said something about not being able to use the machine on my wing or body kit because it was fiberglass. what can i do when detailing? its been sitting under a car cover since july 06.

fibreglass doesnt take the heat from machine polishing as well as steel does



it can be machine polished but take care not to let the paint get hot and keep moving at all times

thanks for the help. glad to know that it is possible to machine polish fiberglass.

I use polishing pads on fiberglass often.
