Detailing OCD...

Does it get to you sometimes? I think in a way, its not a BAD thing, but many times I just can't enjoy my car because I am always thinking about the next thing to buy, or the washing/sealing/waxing I need to do etc.



BTW, I am a single guy and I am on break so I don't have much else to worry about except this car..lol



I believe if I had kids, I wouldn't worry half as much, because i would have to tend to their needs.
 
You are right, kids are time robbers. However, detailing your own car... it's a stress reliever for me. The worries just go away... except when you spot those nasty chips on your bumper. :-(
 
All a matter of how much you care about this stuff relative to other stuff, and to me there's lots of other stuff that's a lot more important than how my vehicles look. Wasn't always that way though, but OTOH there've been times when I ignored (and even sold off) my vehicles to an unbelievable extent because I needed to focus on other things.
