Detailing Nirvana | '29 Ford | AutoLavish

Absolutely jaw-dropping work! And a great read too. That last shot of the suspension was freakin' awesome. :drool5:

Totally awesome work. The car looks fantastic. I knew from your posts that you two were good, but I didn't realize how good.

Marc, that has to be one of the single most impressive exemplifications of pure detailing translated into absolute artistry I have ever seen. Stunning is a wholely insufficient word to describe the absolute perfection you brought to the table with this one.
That wasn't a home run. That wasn't a grand slam. THIS was a shutout game, every game of the season, a perfect game every game to the world series and a total shutout at the series to a complete win.

Congratulations.

Thanks a lot for the kind and encouraging words Jeff. I completely understand and recognize there are a lot of talented and hard working detailers around the nation, so to do anything to stand out means a lot to us. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment, and I appreciate the support.

great job! i'm gonna have to google that tds-3 meter can you explain it a little more?

Thanks a ton Eric. The meter just reads the dissolved solids in the water. I don't feel it's 100% necessary to always have 100% pure water (although it is certainly useful), but it certainly hurts to use very hard water with a lot of mineral deposits. Having a meter to quickly read the parts per million of dissolved solids in the water is somewhat like a paint thickness gauge; they help to prepare you for what you might encounter so you can be better prepared.

BRAVO!!!!!!!:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
Marc,
That was absolutely outstanding. You have just explained to all of us here at TID what detailing is all about. The results that both you and Jacob turn out are nothing less then perfect!!
Thank you so much for posting this for all of us to see, and learn from.

Thanks a lot for the very kind words. I'm glad you found this work interesting and educational. We can only hope to give back in the ways others have to us.

You forgot to clean inside the rear brake drums. J/K
Amazing work. Talk about detail. Wow

;)
Thanks a lot

Amazing job! I hope some day I can work on such a nice classic like this!

It's always nice working on a vehicle you have admiration for. The end results justified all the hard work we put in. Thank you.

Absolutely jaw-dropping work! And a great read too. That last shot of the suspension was freakin' awesome. :drool5:

That's my personal favorite shot as well :D

Unbelievable! Some of the best of the best there.

Thanks a lot Puckman!

dood, so impressed, this is the best car on here ive seen. amazing lots of love to it.thanks for the view.david demonshine.com:notworthy:

Damn! I came back for a full read, you guys pulled out all the tricks. With all the toothbrushes I thought David Fermani was working with you.....

I saw you used about 4 different types of metal polish...sometimes that is what it takes to get it right....one size does not fill all.

Cheers,
GREG
