This Providence

Chiodos

Boys Night Out

Circa Survive

are all my current favorites for my detailing...

Well I gusses Chiodos has to be growing. Thought I have to say the only reason I know of them is becuase I went to high school with the guys in the band.

It really depends on the mood I'm in.

Usually, I go from hard rock to death metal, but some days I feel very relax and want to go on that way, so I put on some ballads, classical soundtracks, Sarah Brightman, Liv Kristine and such.

Ain't I weird ? :geez

Truthfully, it depends on my mood at the time. I tend to vascillate between Chicago House, Alternative, and Hip-Hop. In fact, I am liable to listen to anything in my list of driving music when detailing.

Im all over the place but my preference is fast paced country. Like somebody else mentioned, Country is neutral enough to where people dont complain. I am privledged to have a used car dealer who got me inside for the winter with aa restoration shop next door. The guys are great and listen to alot of outlaw country and rockabilly. They also have alot of eye candy in the shop. a 59 Caddy, an old porsche race car, a 69 SS 396 Chevelle, 64 malibu convertible and an Olds 442 for good mesure. Lots to play with and lots to listen to

Beck Odelay and Midnite Vultures

The Cars

Trey Anastasio

Phish

Talking Heads

Something with a beat and energy works best for me. :)

Depends on my mood here as well.

Jimi Hendrix and Frank Sinatra usually top the list, or AM talk radio (Bortz, Limbaugh, Hannity).

Oddly enough, now that I have a nice garage, all wired for sound with decent speakers....I prefer not having anything playing while I detail. I somehow prefer the quiet :nixweiss

Accumulatorette would probably say it has to do with my learning style (auditory vs. kinesthetic processing). I tend to turn the radio off when I'm doing serious driving too.

If I have the radio going I just turn on the local oldies station www.womc.com and listen to that. Usually I leave the radio off for detailing and just talk to myself. LMAO

Okay, so who's heard the new Indy theme song? It's short, so you'd have to play it over after each panel. The link to is on this page:

I am Indy

It's not too bad, kinda catchy. Maybe Gene can stop by some time and tell me what the hell the lyrics mean.

*And from what I hear, this is now the official theme song of girls named Mindy all over the world...

That is cool , Jazz people like myself are fine with being out of the norm. some people do not like Jazz because it is often open with lots of room between notes. :spot most people are used to todays popular music that crams a lot of infomation into a few minutes. to each their own. if everybody liked the same thing the world would be a boring place.
