Detailing Music

ACE

What's that smell?
I consider myself a music lover, but why does virtually EVERY detailing video on You Tube have to use that same Euro-Disco-Club music like the opening scene from Blade? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX5_m0AwqPA]Blade Opening Sequence - YouTube[/ame] I mean, what's with this? Why this music? OK, I got it off my chest. If you're putting up a video, please try something else. Thanks. BTW, this opening scene is awesome.:bigups

If I ever was to make a video, and was to put music to it, it wouldn't be techno or dubstep stuff. Thats not what I listen to or even enjoy hearing lol. However, the music I listen to wouldn't do too well in a detailing video. I don't think Pantera or Slayer would do much for the first impression of a potential client lol.

I think it's tolerable. Just about everyone likes to hear a good beat, and if you had music with words in it, then there will always be the people who dislike it. I don't always like the kind of beats I hear in those videos but I can tolerate it because I don't have to listen to someone's annoying voice over the music. Techno also sounds futuristic which I could see going hand in hand with a detailing video. A guitar rhythm would be nice but you don't see a lot of people making guitar tracks.

I went on someone's Photography website and heard Nickleback playing in the background. It was a nice website, but that to me just killed it with it's cheesyness.

Your right on the money. It makes for a more professional video. I would worry about copyright issues using someone's music though. It would be my luck that DJ Such n Such would find out I used his music and sue me.

^^Eh, your safe with dance music. There are so many remixes too. As long as you post the credits to the song then there's really nothing anyone can do. :bigups

I'm afraid to say. I'd hate to be judged for choosing the wrong music. Is there something AGO recommends? :D
