Do you find that it not being heated makes a difference? I'm sure that the heated ones are the one that is more like 500 bucks.

I usually preheat the water to 150 °F" from the tap then pour into machine ..The plastic type of material on this extractor can with stand temperatures up to 170°F but not about to try it...
Does heated water make a difference, it some cases yes, others no...

how much is one of the steam models ? for basic dirt and dust, steam isn't necessary.... however for odors and stains, steam works very very well
