Bought this extractor from Cleanfreak.com for $319 Good investment, if your into detailing more than your own vehicle ....

Wow, that looks like a great machine and an even better price. I'll be waiting for some reviews when you get to use it a lot :). Thanks for the info so far.
 
Nice. I'm putting something like that on my 'need to get' list for next season. This week is my last big push before the end of the season and then I can start making plans for next year.
 
Does this extractor have good vacuum power? Does it leave interiors wet? I am having a little trouble with damp/wet interiors. Any ideas?

It does very well sucking up water ...
As for leaving interiors wet, if you soak any carpet getting it dry will be a problem..

what method are you using...?
 
This looks like it right up my alley for price, looking forward to hearing what your thoughts are after you have used it

Joe,
I own a couple of locations in NY&CT. Thats what Ive been saying, if Interiors are trashed you have to soak them. I use Thermax 12 gal versions at all locations.They work great.

Tony,
suck up as much water as you can with extractor then put a blower on it like this...

Or even a high velocity fan... works usually
You have to keep air moving especially on wet carpet

I learned that you can use the cars heater in some cases...turn the heater on high blowing on the floor, crack the windows and let run for about 20 to 30 minutes....in a pinch its worked for me

I see we are all on the same page when it comes to drying interiors in the winter. I crack the windows, and run the car with heat full steam. As long as they have gasoline..... Do those blowers really work? Or a waste of time & Money?
 
I just got off of the phone with a Edic Distributor and he could not believe the price that you paid for this unit. He said you basically got this at cost. His units are $500+

Do you find that it not being heated makes a difference? I'm sure that the heated ones are the one that is more like 500 bucks.
