Detailing D'oh! moment...

Autopia fire/rescue.
So... I get home from the firehouse after working a 24 hour tour of duty.. wifey was sleeping in, so I spent the morning organizing my detailing supplies, refilling bottles odf various solutions, vacuumed the interior of the Edge, and cleaned a whole bunch of polisher pads. I put them on a big flat piece of cardboard to dry in the sun... ran a few errands, stopped at my son's firehouse to chat, stopped and got dinner.. forgetting about the pads.. the lawn sprinklers came on at 6:00 PM, now they are soaked again... d'oh!

I rewashed them, put them in the garage to dry... I was detailng a dark blue 2006 VW Passat Monday morning. The pads were still a bit damp, I put them in the dryer on air fluff for a while and that took care of the dampness.
