Detailing Depot

Guys, unless you really have to buy from the Detailing Depot, I advise against it. It took me about 2 weeks total to get my APC+.



A week after I ordered with my CC, I still didn't get it yet, which I thought was weird. So I called them up and the lady said the order still wasn't processed. DUH!!!:nixweiss :nono I was so mad I just said goodbye. So then it took another week until I finally got it 2 days ago. I dunno why it takes them so long to just process an order, they are slow. Some of you guys may have more positive experiences from this place, but I had a bad one. :confused:
 
I've always had good experiences with Detailing Depot, but I understand your frustration. I always like to give a business one more chance, but if you don't want to, it's more than undestandable.
 
try to get EVERYTHING you can localy. It saves time and money. You can get meg. Detailer line of products from almost every body shop supply house. They have them in stock always becasue the body shops need them NOW!



Only things i can't get localy are zaino, BF, and MF's. I thinkI may need to become a distributer.
 
lets say you own a business you keep little inventory because thats money sitting on the floor.There is a order placed and you dont have it in stock you call the distrubitor and order it (maybe it takes in mose cases 3 days) you get it you sent it out and bill the credit card......................You have to pay for inventory that is not moving and today with all the different things its hard to keep everything on the floor.DD is not to bad but when a item is out of stock they should tell you but they dont only by law they have to tell you if it wont be in stock for 30 days

You can get good stuff locally, it is just finding where. here is a store near me that sells al meguiars, 3m, stoners and a few other brands. All products are on the shelf, or can be to the store you are at within 2 hrs.



Just gotta find the store.
 
can you buy zaino klasse P21S souvern platinum blackfire griots at any store.Yes you can buy 3m and the others but not what I use.

what store can you buy Griots at? or klasse?

It was worded wrong you cant but these items at any stores.You can buy 3m meguiars eagle one and mothers at most stores but the better products are on the web

P21S/S100- BMW & Harley-Davidson dealerships

Zaino- any distributor (including barber shops)

See above. PC and related tools are local for me, including pads.



I could probably detail an entire car with products bought locally and still have it turn out great.

Barber shops? I think Zaino is connected to the Mafia...:sosad :p
 
Now I really don't reccommend this company to anyone. On my CC statement it looks like they added in a $6 handling charge (i'm guessing) that I never knew about. And to top it off i've been trying to contact them for over 3 days now and nothing.
