Does the job look great? Of course not. But we all had to learn somewhere and this guy is obviously inexperienced and needs a little guidance. But no matter how poor the job, there was no need for that comment. :nono

Just from what I've seen I would say the next step after your wool polish is to switch up to a foam pad and polish. Once I hit the foam I usually take a few stages and finish up with 3M's Ultrafina SE. Since it's fresh bodywork I would use a hand glaze since it can't be waxed yet. Great start lots of effort just needs some finishing work.
(man I just love the eliteist on these boards sometimes......)
TH0001 said:This post was NOT posted by the OP. Therefore I am able to offer my opinion.
As far as your elitist post, I have FAR more posts helping people then you do. Infact I rarely see you on here offering advice or taking the time to do it correctly.
autobahnshine said:Wow. This thread went downhill, and picked up some serious speed. :furious:
I didn't know life was based on the number of helping posts one makes.
I think I'm going to go hang out over at DetailingBliss for a little bit.
I love the threads here, but hate the bicker. :think2
TH0001 said:My point is that the "elitist" remark was aimed soley at me (which was offered with out reading the context of the thread).
To me this implied that
A) I am an elitist, which is that I put my self on a pedastil.
B) Because I am on a pedistal, I don't come off of this and only cast judgement.
The majority of my posts (overwhelmingy) are helping people with problems or offering solutions. Nor where did I say my life was based on the number of helping posts one makes. It was a response that the elitist comment that was made was seriously off base as I cannot fit that definition. Not to mention it was made under another false pretense, that the OP is the one who posted the thread.
Also, if the "bicker" is so bad, why would you elect to make a post intended to flame the fire (life based on helping posts comment, which is obviously sarcastic) then tell everybody where you are running off too...
U-piter said:It is taken from other forum(israel). There is no detailed description, it is known only, that the car after repainting.
Total worktime 12 hours. From 9am to 2pm only wetsand job. Then polish and something else.
Question, what it used after polish?

Put down the makita. Go be a lawyer. Show the firm you're trying to get hired at, the 100's of posts you've made just like this one, and you'll get hired ANYWHERE in a heartbeat. They're all incredible.![]()
TH0001 said:Look I really don't want to argue and honestly your post is very disrespectful. I didn't think you would answer my question of intent of your post and it is very obvious that your goal now is to "bicker" which you stand so adamently against.
If I offended anybody by posting that the thread that OP linked showed terrible work I am sorry for that. I thought that was the point of why that thread would be linked on to this forum. If it was the OP's post and he was asking for advice I would have gladely helped.
JoshVette said:Maybe we can get this thing back on track.
The question is asked by the poster, what is used after the polish??
I also question this whole thread as I do not see any validity in it, it's not the detailer asking, okay, so is asking? the owner of the car asking or someone else??
What's the point of the thread U-piter???
