Here are a few shots of my 88 Lincoln Mark VII that I recently detailed. Not bad for 20 year old paint.

The process wasn't that bad. I had just purchased a new PC7424, with the large pad assortment; from autogeek. This gave me most of the ammunition I needed

PC 7424

Megs 9 on a LC yellow pad (only on the areas that had severe waterspots}

Mega 9 on a LC orange pad X 2

Mega 9 on a LC white pad

Megs NXT applied with a LC gray pad

final polish with LC blue pad

Megs leather care on the seats

Megs quick detailer on other interior parts

Hardwater spots removed from the glass with 0000 steel wool LC yellow pad using Megs NXT

The finish is swirl free and 99% of the waterspots are gone. The nly flaws in the paint are a few cat scratches, (may deal with this later) and one spot the dealer used touch up paint on.

All in all it went well. I just ran out of time. It's off to work tonight for two weeks.

Impressive! I normally don't care for that body style, but maybe that's because they are usually ragged out. One sweet ride--I'd be proud to call that one mine. :xyxthumbs

I always liked Mark VIIs. Nice work, beautiful car. I notice the Mark VIII in the background, another wise choice in cars! In case you didn't know about us pay a visit to the Lincolns of Distinction.

The VIII in the background belongs to a friend of my neighbors. Note the stance due to bad air bags. I actually had an identical car several years back. The Mark we have now is the third one we have owned.

Thanks for the responses from everyone. It makes you feel good when your work is appreciated by others.
