Detailing 101 ( BMW 540I )

Hi guys

I have a BMW 540i M sport in for an enhancement detail. Same owner of the X3 I did before, the owner was thrilled and wanted something for his daily driver. He had some concern with some RIDs and I taken care most of them for him. I also made a video upon the owner's request, so I hope you guys enjoy!

Please feel free to question and comment!

Thanks for looking!

Nice Video Franki! What did you use to make it? Also try IronX before claying. It seems to make claying go must faster with most of the bonded contaminates gone already. I still use clay though. Looking into to AutoScrub system though. Do you like? ONR lube or there stuff?

I'm using Mac to create these videos. A great detailer told me to clay before ironX to remove surface contaminates so the iron particles beneath can be address. The 3 in autoscrub melted on me today...no GOOD! 2nd use only.

I would have to respectfully disagree with whoever it was that told you that. The whole idea of IronX is to remove ferrous particulates BEFORE you clay -- otherwise you're just making the clay work harder and become dirtier faster. Not to mention you're only shearing off the top of embedded particulates instead of letting IX dissolve or loosen them first to be pulled from the paint. Just my opinion.

thank you Charlie for your concern, but if you followed my work....I always ironx before clay. I choose not to listen to the media and the market this time, just thinking outside the box to see if it really works, so far... both method perform the same, results are the same. But I will continue to tweak things here and there to see which is better.
