Detailer's Pride Products (Autogeek)

I was always under the impression that meguiars did package some products under different labels. I could be wrong though. :nixweiss

Uncle, do you think all three lines feed the same market? I look at Pinnacle as a staple in the high end wax group that has been around for ever, about 20 years. Detailers Pride kind of feeds detailers and weekends with something better then your part stores

have to offer. I look at Detailers Pride line more of a line of cleaners, it has no paste waxes or paint sealants and the value is great. As for Wolfgang, its all new, little more than a year old and feeds us who likes a paint sealant and is $ under Pinnacle and higher then Wolfgang. Just my two cents:D

Matt, just out of curiosity, have you compared the products from the different lines and found a real difference? I'm not saying that you are wrong, I'm just saying that we need a direct empirical test.

And, yeah, Meguair's has differenet lines. But, Meguair's is also a much larger company than Pinnacle/Wolfgang with greater resources. Also, the differences beween the Megs lines reflect differnet kinds of purposes. Pinnacle/Detailer's Pride/Wolfgang all reach a similar market.

Yes, there is a large difference. For example, the Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo is way different than the Detailer's Pride Auto Wash. Not to say there's anything bad about the DP wash, but there's just something about using the Pinnacle wash that makes the experience that much better.

Another example would be Crystal Mist vs. Detailer's Pride Spray Wax w/Carnauba...once again, two totally different products.

I have a ton of products from each line, and they're DEFINITELY not the same!
