It wasn't for me personally I was just qurious to see what you pay your help.

I am my own boss and like to make much more than that amount.

That tone that comes thru your 2nd post would turn me off immedietly from wanting to be part of your operation if I was looking for a job.

This is Autopia.org, not your local paper.

Good luck to you.

Does a rotary, some wool pads and a barrel of glaze make for a good detailer?

What about if I type with CAPS, does that make for a great shop manager?

Sorry Tdekany Did Not Mean To Affend You ..just Tring To Find Some Good Guys.when You Look At 100+ Applications A Week Sometimes You Try To Weed Out The Guy Who Waste Your Time...oh Yes I Do Put An Add In My Local Paper Too . Thanks For The Help..

Chill guys, interesting to see how this thread quickly transformed into a hostile exchange! For those of you savvy enough on netiquette, suffer a little those of us who lack training!

No Bryan i think when you post over 4000 post you become a good detailer dont worry kid your almost there...

I can't believe that you bring attitude like that to this forum when over half your posts are asking for help with your detail shop. Perhaps if you treated people more kindly you might get a better response on forums and from your employees and life in general. Many people here make more than 600 in a day detailing two or three cars a day.

Anyways...have a good day and good luck with your search.

come on guys i been doing this for many years i use alot of differt stuff, wax final coat products wolfgang or pinnicle...

Bravo Thomas!

I was honestly going to pm you when I saw the pay, not that 600-1000 a week is bad, but that should be daily income for your calibur, definitely not weekly, I was also thinking maybe you could run his spot for him :lol

He did request A+ detailers, so they came in what's so wrong with that, I'm just waiting for Rydawg, Picus, bluecls, Accumulator, Scott, and the others to show up. He does want to draw the best guys from this site right? For those of you I missed please forgive me, the list above is a good start.

On Autopia, one of the first questions we ask is: What products do you use?

Especially, if one is an experienced detailer:
i been doing this for many years

Todd wasn't disrespectful with his post.

We Autopians like to learn. That is all.

Isn't detailing like poker? 15 minutes to learn and a lifetime to perfect?

2.1.2001. was the last time I worked for anyone. Most likely never will.

If I wanted this job, I couldn't do it anyways. I live way too far from Baltimore

Great point. 600-1000 week isn't bad, between 15-25 an hour (if your working 40 per week).

Not bad at all, but somebody like Thomas should really be in the range of 80-120 per hour...
