Detailer Needed for Stoughton, MA

I have a friend from my car club who is looking for a regular detailer. He has two vehicles he's looking to get washed & waxed about 3-4 times a year. I would do it myself, but as detailing is more of a hobby for me I can't commit to being available regularly.



Anyone interested?

I've seen Rick's posts. He does great work. I didn't think he did mobile detailing though. Plus, my friend is looking for a very simple wash & wax (a/k/a he doesn't want to spend too much).

I believe he would prefer someone mobile, but would settle for a fixed location detailer that was situated nearby.

At the beginning of that Porsche thread you said the owner had come into your shop looking for some detailing products, what is the name of your shop?



Definitely a good job on the Porsche. Do you have any other threads I can check out? Also, I am not the one looking for a detailer. I do all my own detailing work. It's a friend of mine who you would be doing the work for.



One last question . . . are you truly mobile or quasi-mobile? Some detailers say they are mobile but don't carry their own water supply. "Mobile" detailers who don't show up with their own water I consider quasi-mobile.

He came into my store. I work at Advance in Norwood. I'll have to dig up a few other threads. Where does your friend live? As long as its around the immediate area I shouldn't have a problem being mobile provided he has a hose I can use. Thats really all I would need.



I also actually work with another gentleman from work. He uses a rotary (Makita), I use a PC. Very highly skilled at both.

Thanks Peter. He works in Stoughton and wanted to have the cars detailed there. I believe at a wharehouse. So, you work in the Advance near rt. 1 and Dean St? I have definitely been in that Advance before. I'll keep an eye out for you next time I'm in there.



OK. So, you are quasi-mobile and very close to where the cars will be. If you can PM me your phone number, I can pass along all this info to my friend.

If you have access to a gas powered pressure washer (or electric if an outlet is near by) you can find a drum and easily bring water to the site.



When I raced MX, I would wash my bike in-between motos. (Most racers did) Having limited access to water we would bring our own. Most guys got a 55/30 gallon drum (your local auto store/ lube shop should have one lying around that was used for washer fluid.) Just rinse out thouroughly (really good) and fill...... when you go to siphon the water, make sure all the water is out of the hose. Place end in drum and then give the hose a suck...... once you see it flow...pinch off and connect.
