Detailed Z pics

I just wanted to share some pics that I took of my Z last week after her weekly bath. In these pics I only washed and used Meg QD. The NXT application was about a month or so ago.

Today I applied another coat of NXT and tomorrow I'll apply another coat then top it off with PS. I'll be sure to take more pics.

I also removed the 350Z badge that was on the back, I like how it looks without it. Now I just have to buy a Z badge to replace the NISSAN emblem. Lastly, check out my new plates... :D

how was the NXT after a month?

Thanks.

I'm really impressed with NXT's durability. After a month the water still beads and when you hose her off without the nozzle, it still sheets. That's probably the best thing that I love about it. I don't even use the CWB anymore because the water just rolls off the car. I'm wanting to try other products but since I'm getting really good results with NXT I probably wont for a while. :xyxthumbs

Lucky dog, you're in Hawaii. I'll be there for two weeks in August visiting my parents.

Unfortunately this beautiful finish was ruined tonight because of rain. Oh well, I'm off for te next four days so I have something to do.

Why spend so much time keep the car clean, when you're massacring the front end with that hideous bra? If you're as serious about aesthetics as you say you are, go spend some money on a Clearbra, Armourfend, any of the clear protective products. Your car will look exponentially better.

Well, personally I don't think that I'm massacrating the front end with the nose mask. At the last car show that I entered which I came in 1st for stock, I was given many compliments on the nose mask. Besides, since there's about four other blue Z's in my club, it's a good way to defferenciate my Z. After a nice coat of NXT Tech Spray on it, it blends in very well with the car after it's been detailed. I've thought about the clear protective products as well but I don't think I will be going that route. One of the guys in my club has the same colr Z with the clear bra on it. I don't know what he did but it's covered with swirls. Every single swirl or scratch is highlighted and there's very little than he can do about it. That's one of the reason I don't want the clear bra.

That bra will save many rock or debris chips that are very upsetting. I think it looks great with or without the bra.

The car looks awesome!!!!!! Very nice work.

the bra is definatly different, but it is simply not my thing eather. It seems to work with you so thats cool.

What I notice with the nose mask on the Z's is that it really contours to the front end of the vehicle. On some cars there are uselesstabs that sticks out that makes it look horrible. One other thing that makes a difference is that I actually clean the the mask itself where it looks totally black. If I don't spray down where the color is black, it doesn't look very good. This of course is just my personal preference. ;)
