Detailed the Trans Am for Spring, pics inside...

So im home for spring break, and its been sitting outside in the Florida sun for past several months which its not use to at all, and it drove me crazy. So i thought id detail it when i came home, and so i did.



What i did:



wash car

cleaned top with Raggtopp cleaner

Merenza IP on light cutting pad

Merenza IP on 4 inch cutting pad in some areas

Z-PC

Z-5 x 2

Z-2 x 1

RaggTopp protectant on top

Z-16 on tires/trim

The sunlight wasnt really all that good. It was mostly cloudy all day, and it was kind of hit and miss with the sun being out during the pics. I would go to take the pic and a cloud would come over the sun. :mad: So the lighting is not the best.



But yeah, the Merenza IP worked real well, i was really pleased with the results. My doors near the handle had some moderate swirling on them, and my front quarter panels were also swirled from the previous owner and it took the swirls right out! :xyxthumbs:



Also, the RaggTopp cleaner worked awesome too. My top had a few stains from being out the in sun in Florida, and it took them right out. :)



Now hopefully it will stay nice for the next 3 weeks down there, and then it can come back and have a garage to stay in during the summer. :cool:
 
Buy a car cover if its not being used. Im buying one for my car once I head off to college this fall. Its gonna be the garage queen because we only have a one car garage and one car driveway.
